Requirements

  • Engineering degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) with 2-3 years of professional experience in backend development, preferably in a full-stack or backend-focused role.
  • Proficient in Java, Spring Boot, SQL, or similar backend technologies.
  • Strong understanding and hands on experience of event driven cloud architectures, object-oriented design (OOP), design patterns, and RESTful APIs.
  • Quick to learn new technologies and adapt to different tech stacks, with flexibility and a technology-agnostic mindset being a plus.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and self-driven learning.
     Good to Have
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
  • Familiarity with test automation and test-driven development (TDD).
  • Knowledge of security best practices in backend development.

Rules and Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and APIs that are scalable, reliable, and secure.
  • Work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and other team members to design and implement end-to-end solutions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices, including code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing.
  • Contribute to the architecture and design of backend systems, ensuring they meet scalability, security, and performance requirements.
  • Maintain thorough documentation for APIs, system designs, and code changes to ensure clarity and knowledge sharing.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
