Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic engineering or physics.
• Solid understanding of PCB design workflows – from layout and placement to design rule checking and verification.
• Analytical mindset with good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with simulation software.
• Fluent in English. .
• Signal and power integrity knowledge.
• Some understanding of EMC principles required for PCB design (crosstalk noise/Jitter/etc…)
• Experience with Pollex or other PCB design software such as Altium.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
• Experience in software quality assurance, preferably for engineering or simulation software.

Rules and Responsibilities

• Test Planning and Execution: Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to verify software functionality, performance, and usability.
• Defect Management: Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues effectively.
• Automation Testing: Maintain and extend automated test scripts to ensure efficient and repeatable testing processes.
• Feature Validation: Test new features, ensuring they meet functional requirements and adhere to design specifications.
• Performance Testing: Conduct performance benchmarking to ensure the software operates efficiently across various use cases and environments.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed test reports and provide feedback on ways the user experience could be improved.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on emerging QA trends, tools, and methodologies, recommending enhancements to improve the QA process.
